Please join us at the Poets and Painters launch

Please join us at the launch of Poets and Painters - Celebrating The Big Punchbowl on Friday 28 July at the Moonah Arts Centre.

During the spring and summer months of 2016-17, nine poets and nine painters immersed themselves in The Big Punchbowl Reserve. In pairs they have witnessed nature, then collaboratively crafted work. The results show The Big Punchbowl through a new and original lens.

You are invited to join the TLC and curators Pete Hay and Carol Bett at the exhibition launch of the seventh Poets and Painters.

Protected by the Tasmanian Land Conservancy in 2016 through the generosity of so many supporters, The Big Punchbowl Reserve is 244 hectares of waterways and bushland on the Freycinet Peninsula. Home to nationally endangered Tasmanian devils, white-bellied sea eagles and a raft of waterbirds, the reserve fringes the Ramsar-listed Moulting Lagoon.
