We’ve always been keen on travelling to remote areas in search of wilderness. Though we’re originally from France and now based in bustling Hong Kong, we hold a deep affection for Tasmania.

Since 2012, we’ve visited Tasmania every two years or so, mainly to hike and to experience the incredible wildlife. Sacha and Noah, who were born in 2016, now come with us. They enjoy it so much that every time we return home, we find ourselves imagining a future living in Tasmania.

Tassie is amazing – it has everything. There are so many different ecosystems and unique flora and fauna. For us it’s one of the best places on earth to feel connected to nature.

We heard about the Tasmanian Land Conservancy a few years ago, and during our last visit we saw its incredible work first-hand. This experience convinced us that action and support are better than thoughts.

We established the Sacha and Noah Cesbron Fund in honour of our twin sons, Sacha and Noah, who we hope will become responsible adults carrying a love for nature as their guide for life.
