Julie Fielder

Julie is an ecologist with over 15 years experience working in conservation science. Her interests include fungi, plants, and their interactions through the soil microbiome. She has worked on vegetation mapping, monitoring, plant pathology, mammal monitoring and translocation, aerial surveys, invertebrates, fungi surveys, metagenomic studies of soil fungi, fire ecology, forestry monitoring, and threatened species monitoring and survey. She has worked across Australia in a broad range of ecosystems, from the arid zone, through to cool temperate rainforest communities.
