2018 TLC AGM & Vale of Belvoir Reserve 10th Anniversary Celebration

Join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary since the creation of the TLC’s Vale of Belvoir Reserve at our 2018 Annual General Meeting.

The tussock grasslands of the Vale of Belvoir are home to shy ground parrots, endangered ptunarra brown butterflies and numerous wildflowers. The TLC wishes to honour the cultural and natural heritage of this Tasmanian conservation icon and the nation-wide community of supporters whose support ensured its protection.

Ten years on, the TLC’s 476 hectare Vale of Belvoir Reserve is now recognised as a Tasmanian conservation icon. In celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Reserve, the TLC wishes to honour the cultural and natural heritage of the Vale and the nation-wide community of supporters whose support ensured its protection.

We will also explore the challenges and opportunities in realising the TLC’s vision for Tasmania to be a global leader in nature conservation by examining ‘What is a World Class Reserve System and how can we achieve it?’, and by introducing the emerging innovative ways that the TLC is working with private landholders to identify and protect critical conservation values on their properties.

Complimentary cake and Devils Corner wines will be served at the event.
